Lent and Advent Studies During the Lent and Advent we invite parishioners to join one our study groups. In the past few years we’ve read Rowan Williams ‘Being Christian’ and participated in the Society for St John the Evangelist (SSJE) annual Lenten workshop.
Wednesday Morning ‘Bible and a Beverage’ Grab a tea or a coffee and join us on Zoom for a lively discussion of the weekly Gospels.
Library & Resource Centre The Centre has a wide assortment of books, magazines and videos on faith-related and spiritual topics that parishioners are encouraged and welcome to borrow.
Live Nativity On the first Sunday in December we host a petting zoo with live animals and together with costumed parishioners (including the Magi) we look ahead to birth of our Lord.
Parish Dinner Held each fall this is a chance to get together as a parish, share a meal and celebrate the people and place that is St Martin’s Church
Christmas Bazaar A highlight of the Christmas season, join us for our annual bazaar and bistro
Advent Solstice Walk A new event for pandemic times when we can’t meet in church. A candlelit walk around St Martin’s offering prayers and reflections
Pollinator Garden Established in 2019 by the Cross Trainers and opened on Rogation Sunday, this garden offers a small respite place for our butterflies, bees and other pollinators.
