A TRADITION IN THE MAKING !

As a prelude to Christmas the Nativity Event staged outdoors on the grounds of St Martin’s this past Sunday, December 17th ranks right up there for the delight and joy it fostered in all who braved the sparkly bright cold winter temperatures to sees the iconic Christian Manger scene recreated by folks from St Martin’s parish family complete with a fine friendly live donkey and a bevy of his marvellous animal pals – sheep, goats, alpacas among them.

Judging by the enthusiastic turnout along with the welcome hot chocolate and cookies, the event has all the hallmarks of becoming a new tradition for St Martin’s and families throughout the McKellar Carlingwood neighbourhoods. This first installment came about thanks to the efforts of Fiona Hills, St Martin’s People’s Warden and St Martin’s Cross Training Program lead by Hannah Marsh.
