A Virtual Visit to India Well Attended
In the depths of winter braving icy cold temperatures to attend special events is worth applauding. The same holds for the height of summer. On Tuesday, July 18th some fifty people packed into the Fellowship Hall at St Martin’s to take in a presentation by Fr Joseph on his homeland India. Amid the evening’s very warm, humid, muggy weather no doubt akin to that found in parts of India, Fr Jo unpacked some of the complexity, vastness and diversity of this sprawling democracy and fielded questions on his own journey in faith enriched by his homeland’s very diversity. The thoughtful round of fruit juice that made its appearance towards the end of the presentation was a welcome nightcap to an enjoyable and informative evening. A presentation definitely worth repeating regardless of weather conditions.
