Patronal Feast Sunday and Remembrance Sunday, Nov 13th

This coming Sunday at St. Martin’s parish is our Patronal Feast Day and also Remembrance Sunday.

Our special guest is the Venerable Chris Dunn, Archdeacon of Ottawa West and Rector of All Saints, Westboro. Chris will give the children’s talk and preach. He will also join us over coffee and share his experiences with recent developments at All Saints.

In his homily, Chris will speak about the scripture readings of the day and especially how St. Martin demonstrated Christian service in very practical but effective ways.

We will also on Sunday recall members of our parish listed on our Honour Roll who served during the great world wars and other conflicts. Names will be solemnly read by Dave Dawson and Drew Isaac. Piper David Campbell will lead us in the Last Post and Reveille. We are honoured to have Mrs. Connie Mooney to lay the wreath.
